Opalescent Glass Series
Jewel glass is a pure white glass that is distinctly different from ordinary transparent glass, offering exceptional beauty. It is a specially manufactured glass called "gyoku" (jewel), designed to appear white due to the diffuse reflection of light. It typically contains feldspar in addition to glass.
While it may look like ceramic at first glance, it is a beautiful vessel with a subtle translucence when held up to the light, and a lustrous, smooth texture.
