■ These chopsticks are made of white cedar from Yoshino cedar.

●Cedar Ranchu chopsticks are also known as Ippon Rikyu chopsticks and are "medium wide flat chopsticks" with a calm and quiet shape, with medium thick and thin chamfered edges.
Whenever Sen no Rikyu was expecting guests, he would always use chopsticks made from the red part of cedar that he had ordered from the Yoshino region in the morning.
We cut both ends into thin strips for each customer to make them lighter and easier to hold.
It is said that these chopsticks were carved to make them easier to eat with.
Moreover, these chopsticks made from the freshly carved red part of cedar convey the host's warm feelings in the form of a rich fragrance.
