The main feature of Taicho steamers is their unique specifications that incorporate the best features of both Japanese steamers and Chinese steamers. The bottom of the "body" can be used to place ingredients directly, just like a Chinese steamer, and the "body" is deep, just like a Japanese steamer.
We also offer a removable partition that can be used to divide the bottom of the steamer. With this, you can divide the inside of the steamer and steam several ingredients at the same time.
The bottom of the bamboo slats is easy to clean
Most steamers have a body and a bottom that are one piece, and the bottom cannot be removed. Taidokoro's steamers are made with convenience in mind, by placing a piece of wood inside the body in a cross shape and a bamboo mat on top of it. They are easy to wash, dry, and maintain.
