＜Versatile uses＞

・As a sake server... Can be used as a sake server by filling it with Japanese sake.
・As a matcha bowl... Use a small chasen (bamboo whisk) to prepare matcha, then pour it into another vessel. If poured into milk, it can be used for matcha lattes, etc.

・As a small bowl... Can be used as a small bowl for simmered dishes, vegetables, or mukōzuke (dishes served opposite the main course).

【What is Seto Akazu Ware?】

Seto Akazu Ware is a traditional craft earthenware produced in the Akatsu district of Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, and is counted as one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. Its characteristics include the use of seven types of glazes (ash glaze, iron glaze, Kise-Seto, Shino, Oribe, Ofukei, and Ko-Seto) and twelve types of decorative techniques (such as spatulated carving, comb marks, and stamped patterns), with a wide range of products including tea ceremony utensils and daily necessities. Its history dates back to sueki ware of the Nara period, and its current techniques and name were established in the early Edo period.
