■This is a new cooking box with a fresh and beautiful contrast between the metal (aluminum) lid and the wood.
The aluminum lid has a wood grain pattern created using a router and then anodized*.
The gentle pink gold color is achieved using food-safe dyes.
The body is a cooking box made of hinoki cypress and is an easy-to-use size.

Anodizing (anodic oxidation) is a surface treatment in which aluminum is electrolytically treated with an anode (positive electrode) to artificially produce an oxide film (aluminum oxide).
Aluminum easily combines with oxygen, and when exposed to air, it forms a very thin oxide film. Because it is protected by this naturally formed film, it is generally said to be resistant to rust, or in other words, to good corrosion resistance. However, because this film is very thin, it can corrode due to chemical reactions depending on the environment. For this reason, a surface treatment to protect the surface, i.e. anodizing, is required.
